To tell the truth, we really didn't get him anything. Well I got him a couple of books, but that's about it because he already needed clothes a few weeks ago, and so I couldn't save those. He's the first grandchild on my side, so my parents got him lots, and Adam and I figured that's good. Next year though, I'm sure will be a whole different story.
What a hunk! I suspect Brooke of being flirty with a boy at church this Sunday, but I'm pretty sure when she sees Ashton again no other boy will be able to compare.
Thanks for the comment on my blog! Hannah will be five months old on the 22nd, so I think she's just like a month or so older than Ashton? I need to see new pictures of him... he's such a stud!
We started her on rice cereal shortly after she turned four months old because she was still acting hungry after I nursed her in the evenings... I think my milk supply was kind of low at that time of day, which is supposedly pretty common. Anyway, we did just rice cereal for maybe two weeks and then started introducing some stage one veggies, like sweet potatoes, squash, peas, etc. You can probably start Ashton anytime between 4-6 months, and I'm sure his doctor will talk to you about it at his 4 month checkup (if you haven't already had it). Some kids don't need it until later, but I think Hannah benefited from it. :) Besides, she's my first kid, and I was kind of overly eager to try!!!
Sorry to barge in to your cute blog, but I just have to say what a cute little boy you have. I was the "nanny" for the Bird kiddos in 1999. Lorin is awesome & I can only imagine you are even better. Tell Lorin I said HellO!
